Tony Caracci, known as the "wine guy" at Hudson's Mill, 5599 Merrick Rd., Massapequa, is offering diners the opportunity to taste before ordering from a changing selection of 40 wines by the glass. Most of these wines, Caracci said, are not readily found at most liquor stores or restaurants.

"We try to make the experience nonintimidating," Caracci said, adding that after people tell him what they're looking for in a wine, he usually nails the right one after one or two tastes. For information or reservations, call 516-799-5394.
